Slicker Recycling Earns Bronze Accreditation from FORS
Slicker Recycling is excited to announce our achievement of a Bronze accreditation from the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). This voluntary, industry-recognised standard promotes safety, efficiency, and environmental performance among fleet operators across the UK.
Achieving this accreditation required collaboration across Slicker’s logistics division, including drivers, planners, and operational staff, all of whom met FORS’ rigorous criteria. Our HSEQ team played a vital role in supporting the process, ensuring success at every stage.
The comprehensive audit assessed several aspects of our operations, such as documentation, vehicle management, driver performance, and operational standards. Slicker excelled in all areas, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining exceptional fleet management practices.
At Slicker Recycling, upholding the highest standards in fleet operations is a cornerstone of our management. This accreditation not only highlights our dedication to excellence but also paves the way for further improvements and advancements. Looking ahead, we aim to achieve even higher levels of FORS accreditation.
"We’re thrilled to have earned this prestigious recognition," said Laura Carter, Joint Managing Director of Slicker Recycling. "The hard work and dedication of our logistics team, alongside the support of our HSEQ colleagues, truly reflect our commitment to leading in fleet management standards."
